We’ve gone back to back in the Reserves BASL Super Cup after defeating Tatura SC 1-0 in extra time.
Neither teams could find a goal in regulation time in the 25 degree heat in Shepparton, although both teams were reduced to 10 men in the second half leaving both sides already fatigue now a player short.
It was Pleh Eh Ywa Hlaing (Bear) who hit the back of the net with a strike from a Logan Hromenko cross in the first half of extra time to give us the 1-0 advantage that we were able to hold on to until the final whistle seeing us lift the trophy for a second year running. Pleh Eh Ywa was also given the Player of the Match honours.
Well done to Tatura SC on a great match and we appreciate everyone who made the trip to Shepparton to support!
